The Green Bay Packers bolstered their offensive line in Round 2 of the 2019 NFL Draft, scooping up former Mississippi State OL Elgton Jenkins.

Jenkins will be in the mix to start at guard and possibly center this fall, so we’ll see how he handles rookie minicamp and summer workouts.

On Monday, the Packers announced that Jennings would be wearing jersey No. 74 during his time in Green Bay:

That’s the same number Jenkins wore at Mississippi State, so he should be happy with that decision by the Packers.

He’ll be tasked with keeping QB Aaron Rodgers upright, and with his talent, he could end up as a starter in 2019 and beyond.
