Mississippi State may have started slow but they put a hurting on Abilene Christian by the time the final whistle blew in Starkville as the Bulldogs won 45-7 on Saturday night.

Joe Moorhead’s rushing attack had their way with Abilene Christian’s defense as Kylin Hill finished the game with 153 yards on 16 carries and the Bulldogs finished with 372 yards on 40 carries. In total, Mississippi State racked up 577 total yards of offense in the contest.

On the other side of the ball, Bob Shoops’ defense limited Abilene Christian to just 27 rushing yards and forced a pair of turnovers.
