Kylin Hill lands on the cover of Sports Illustrated's daily cover
The Southeastern Conference is set to return to the gridiron this weekend and just in time for the season, Sports Illustrated has decided to honor Mississippi State running back Kylin Hill with its digital daily cover honor.
The magazine profiled Hill and how the running back managed to spur change in the state of Mississippi this offseason with a tweet that eventually led to the state changing its state flag.
Hill also received the key to his hometown, Columbus, Miss., this offseason following the changing of the state flag.
Outside of his work off the field, Hill just so happens to be one of the best running backs in the SEC.
During his junior season, Hill rated third in the SEC in rushing with 1,350 rushing yards — which is the most among returning rushers in the league heading into the 2020 season. (Only Lynn Bowden and Clyde Edwards-Helaire rushed for more yards than Hill last season).
