Coming off a season-opening win over Louisiana-Lafayette, Mississippi State is back in Starkville this weekend for its home opener.

The Bulldogs are welcoming in Southern Miss on Saturday at Davis Wade Stadium, as they look to begin the year with back-to-back wins. They notched a 38-28 victory vs. Louisiana-Lafayette at Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans last Saturday.

On Thursday, Mississippi State revealed its uniform combination for its Week 2 matchup against Southern Miss, and as many likely expected, the Bulldogs are going with a traditional look — white helmet, maroon jersey and white pants:

This will be the first home game for Mississippi State quarterback Tommy Stevens, who had a strong Bulldogs debut last weekend after transferring from Penn State.

Mississippi State and Southern Miss are set to kick off on Saturday at 3:30 p.m. ET on ESPNU.
