Mississippi State adds commitment from 2023 WR out of Georgia

Mississippi State picked up a new commitment its 2023 recruiting class. On Friday, Georgia wide receiver Nakai Poole announced his pledge to play for Mike Leach’s program.

Poole shared the news on his Twitter account.

A Norcross (Georgia) standout, Poole is listed at 6-3, 205 pounds and rated 3-stars, the No. 73 Peach State product, No. 105 wide receiver and No. 784 prospect overall nationally in the class of 2023 on the 247Sports Composite.

According to 247Sports, Poole picked up a scholarship offer from Mississippi State on February 8, 2022. Since then, he was offered by Georgia State, Virginia Tech, Central Michigan, Auburn, Ole Miss and Michigan State. He visited Auburn (March 28) and Georgia Tech (April 8).
