Mississippi State bolstered its 2025 class Friday with the commitment of KaMario Taylor.

Taylor is listed as an athlete and specializes in playing the quarterback position.

Taylor is a 3-star prospect out of Macon (Miss.) Noxubee County. He is the No. 46 QB and No. 14 Mississippi prospect, according to the 247Sports Composite.

Taylor may have made it a priority to commit to Mississippi State on Friday the 13th.

He also had offers from Southern Miss, Vanderbilt, and Ole Miss. The Bulldogs now have two commits from the 2025 class. Taylor joins 3-star linebacker commit Aj Rice.

The Bulldogs are coming off of a 41-28 win over Western Michigan in their last game. The win snapped a losing streak after consecutive losses to LSU, South Carolina, and Alabama.

The Zach Arnett era is off to a 3-3 start. Up next on the schedule is struggling Arkansas. The Razorbacks have not earned an SEC win yet this season.

Here’s a highlight tape from Taylor’s sophomore year:
