Mississippi State added a key recruit in the class of 2024 this weekend.

The Bulldogs beat out Ole Miss and multiple other SEC programs for 4-star offensive lineman Jimothy Lewis. The IMG Academy product also had offers from programs such as Florida State, Miami, Auburn and Missouri.

Lewis committed just after midnight on Sunday morning. Here’s his announcement:

Lewis is a huge pickup for Mississippi State. He’s the No. 206 overall player and the No. 19 offensive tackle prospect in the country for the class of 2024, per 247Sports Composite rankings. He’s also the No. 33 player from the state of Florida.

Lewis attends IMG Academy in Bradenton, Fla. However, he previously attended Madison-Ridgeland Academy in Madison, Mississippi. He’s listed at 6-foot-6, 275 pounds.

Mississippi State now has 14 commits in the class of 2024. The Bulldogs already have 6 4-star commits in this class. The group currently sits at No. 17 in the country, according to 247Sports Composite rankings.
