The Mississippi State Bulldogs were a formidable team this past season, and freshman F Reggie Perry was a big part of that.

The talented big man appeared in 34 games for the Bulldogs, starting 18. He averaged 9.7 points and 7.2 rebounds in 23.4 minutes per game.

Unsurprisingly, he decided to test the NBA Draft waters after the season. Now, though, he’s reached a decision, and he announced on Tuesday night that he’d be returning to Mississippi State for his sophomore season:

This is obviously very good news for coach Ben Howland and the Bulldogs, who will return some serious talent this upcoming season.

Perry could work his way into draft contention as a sophomore, but for now, he’ll be welcomed back to Starkville with open arms.
