Mississippi State has picked up a 2021 recruit out of New Orleans, its second prospect in that class.

Destrehan, Louisiana WR Quincy Brown has committed to the Bulldogs after he has already received 12 offers, including several from teams in the SEC West.

Brown, a 4-star recruit, is listed as 6-foot-3 and 175 pounds. Before Brown’s commitment, the Bulldogs were ranked sixth in the SEC and No. 21 nationally. His addition bumped Mississippi State to fifth in the SEC and No. 15 nationally.

Brown is ranked as the No. 33 receiver in the country and No. 7 player in Louisiana, according to the 247 Sports Composite.

“They want to build around me at Mississippi State and get me to places they know I should be at,” Brown told Sam Spiegelman of Rivals.

Here are Brown’s highlights from Hudl.
