Make that two commitments for Mississippi State this week and now five total for the 2019 recruiting cycle as Louisana native Quinton Torbor announced his decision to commit to the Bulldogs Wednesday morning.

If you missed it, North Carolina QB prospect Garrett Shrader committed to Mississippi State on Tuesday.

The 6-foot-2, 182-pound Destrehan native is ranked as a four-star prospect and the No. 48 receiver in the nation according to his 247Sports Composite Rankings. He’s listed as Louisiana’s No. 12 overall recruit. He currently holds scholarship offers from Auburn, Georgia, Kentucky, Tennessee, among others.

Here is the note Torbor posted on Twitter announcing his decision to commit to Joe Moorhead’s program:

Mississippi State now has five total 2019 commitments and Torbor’s addition gives them two four-stars in the class.

Here is his junior season highlight reel. It should say something about him that the first play of his highlight reel is a block 10 yards down the field that results in a pancake. Unlike some high school receivers, Torbor is far more than a speed player that uses his athletic ability to run past defenders.
