After being offered by Dan Mullen's Florida program, QB Garrett Shrader commits to Mississippi State
Mississippi State’s 2019 recruiting class now features four commitments as Charlotte quarterback prospect Garrett Shrader recently committed to Joe Moorhead and the Bulldogs. News of the commitment was first reported by Steve Wiltfong of 247Sports.
The 6-foot-4, 200-pound North Carolina native is ranked as the nation’s No. 13 dual-threat QB in the nation and the No. 21 overall prospect from the Tar Heel state according to his 247Sports Composite Rankings. Shrader has chosen Mississippi State over offers from Alabama, Arkansas Florida, Ole Miss, South Carolina, and Tennessee among others.
It has to feel good for Bulldog fans to know Moorhead beat out Dan Mullen in this recruitment, as the Gators extended the offer to Shrader just a few weeks ago:

Check out Shrader’s junior season highlight reel to get an idea of how well he fits into the offense that Moorhead plans to run in Starkville. He seems to fit the exact mode Mississippi State wants in a signal caller:
