The Mississippi State Bulldogs entered the week with a solid start to their 2021 recruiting class, as they had 2 players — both 4-star receivers.

However, on Tuesday night, one of those receivers decided to reopen his recruiting process and decommit from the Bulldogs.

As you can see below, 4-star WR Quincy Brown out of Louisiana announced via Twitter that he was decommitting:

Per the 247Sports composite rankings, Brown is the No. 27 wide receiver in the 2021 class and the No. 6 overall recruit from the state of Louisiana.

The Bulldogs are now down to 1 player — 4-star WR Deion Smith — in their 2021 class, which currently ranks No. 22 in the nation and No. 6 in the SEC, per 247Sports.
