The first spring game of the Mike Leach era is set.

Of course, the Bulldogs are entering the second season under the Leach but Mississippi State was unable to hold a spring game last season due to COVID.

Now we know when that game will be held, thanks to MSU Senior Associate Athletic Director Dave Emerick, as well as the start of spring practice and Pro Day in Starkville.

Here are the key dates for Mississippi State’s upcoming spring:

March 18: First day of spring practice

March 24: Mississippi State Pro Day

April 17: Maroon and White spring game

Due to the NFL Scouting Combine being unable to host prospects this year, Mississippi State’s Pro Day looms large for the three Bulldogs selected to participate in the event.

Instead of working out for teams in Indianapolis, the workouts for Kylin Hill (provided he attends), Marquiss Spencer and Erroll Thompson will take place at Mississippi State’s Pro Day.
