A scary moment happened in the third quarter of Kentucky’s 40-38 victory over Mississippi State when MSU freshman OL Darryl Williams went down after a field goal attempt.
Williams was down for several minutes before he was removed from the field on a stretcher and taken to a nearby hospital.
On Sunday morning, though, the Bulldogs tweeted that Williams is OK after the scary injury:
Great news. Darryl Williams is doing fine. Tests were negative. He and our ath. training staff will fly back to Starkville later this AM.

No matter who you root for, it’s always good to hear that a player isn’t seriously injured.
The Wildcats sent their well wishes to Williams, too:
This is such tremendous news to wake up to this morning. All the best, Darryl! https://t.co/bWUbwy0tan

Best of luck to Williams in his recovery.
