Per college basketball insider Jon Rothstein, Mississippi State will compete against Northwestern, Rhode Island and Washington State at the 2023 Hall of Fame Tip-Off at Mohegan Sun:

Who will play who in the first-round matchups has yet to be revealed, but that could be released as a part of the official announcement, whenever that’s made.

This season, Mississippi State played in the Fort Myers Tip-Off tournament. The Bulldogs won the title, beating South Dakota, Marquette and Utah en route to the championship.
