Former Mississippi State RB Aeris Williams didn’t hear his name called during the 2019 NFL Draft in Nashville, but he’ll still have his chance in the league.
Shortly after the draft concluded on Saturday, Williams landed a contract as an undrafted free agent.
Per the Mississippi State football Twitter account, Williams is off to Indianapolis to try to land a roster spot with the Colts:

The Colts currently have Marlon Mack as their starting running back, with several other guys competing for spots, so we’ll see if Williams can crack the rotation this summer.
Williams only ran for 524 yards and three touchdowns last season for the Bulldogs, adding 100 yards and a score as a receiver. He eclipsed the 1,000-yard mark back in 2017, though.
