Mississippi State is expected to join a long list of SEC men’s basketball teams looking for new coaches this offseason.

Per a report from Pete Thamel of ESPN, Ben Howland and the Bulldogs are parting ways.

Per Thamel, the move is expected to be made official on Thursday after Mississippi State’s NIT loss to Virginia on Wednesday night:

Howland has a record of 134-98 in 7 seasons at Mississippi State. He made it to the NCAA Tournament once, losing in the first round.

Georgia (which has since hired Mike White), Florida, Mizzou, South Carolina and LSU also have made changes at head coach this offseason.
