The Mississippi State Bulldogs are set for a rivalry clash with the LSU Tigers on Saturday. In anticipation of the game, Mississippi State released the uniform combo that will be sported this weekend.

The team will go with white helmets, maroon jerseys, and white pants. The white helmets have the cursive “State” maroon logo as opposed to the classic block M logo. The team made the script “State” logo a permanent fixture before the 2023 season, much to the delight of Bulldogs fans.

In 2022, the team wore 5 different helmets. A maroon script logo, a white script logo, white with the “M” logo, a throwback “M S” helmet, and a pirate flag helmet in honor of the late Mike Leach.

For the home opener in Week 2 against Arizona, the team went with the classic all-white look. In Week 1, the team wore maroon helmets, maroon jerseys, and white pants.

The 2-0 Bulldogs are set to face their toughest challenge yet in Week 3. The 1-1 LSU Tigers are traveling to Starkville for a noon ET kickoff. The Tigers have bested the Bulldogs in the 2 most recent matchups, with the Bulldogs last pulling off the victory in 2020.
