Contrary to ESPN announcer Brent Musberger, Mississippi State quarterback Dak Prescott has not made a decision on whether to enter the NFL draft.

Musberger casually mentioned during the broadcast that Prescott would return for his senior season with the Bulldogs, causing a mini meltdown on Twitter. But after the game, Prescott said he hasn’t decided yet.

Eligible underclassmen have until Jan. 15 to declare for the NFL draft. Conventional wisdom is that Prescott is interested in going to the NFL if it seems at all reasonable.

Several Mississippi State players have NFL decisions to make, though running back Josh Robinson took to social media to announce his decision before the bowl game Wednesday.
