Mississippi State has reportedly become the second SEC program to boycott fall camp practice on Thursday in solidarity with protests and other sports league boycotts/strikes following the shooting of Jacob Blake in Wisconsin.

“Per sources at Mississippi State, the players are boycotting training camp practice today,” Paul Jones of 247Sports tweeted Thursday afternoon. Joel Coleman of Cowbell Corner confirmed Jones’ report.

Kentucky players decided to walk out of practice earlier Thursday. Wildcats players later spoke to the media about their decision.

In the current offseason calendar, football teams are allowed 20 hours of practice per week. Head coach Mike Leach and Bulldogs players will presumably address the situation with reporters.
