The Dallas Cowboys and former Mississippi State QB Dak Prescott have been in a stalemate when it comes to his contract for a while now.

But, on Monday, that stalemate came to an end, and Prescott is getting a massive contract extension.

Per Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network, the contract is for 4 years and worth up to $164 million, with $126 million guaranteed:

Prescott suffered a season-ending injury in 2020, so we’ll see if he can come back at 100% strength for Week 1 of the 2021 season.

In his 5-year career, Prescott has thrown for 17,634 yards, 106 touchdowns and 40 interceptions. He’s added 24 touchdowns as a rusher and 1 as a receiver. We’ll see how he fares during the course of his massive new contract.
