According to a report in the Jackson Clarion-Ledger, former Mississippi State cornerback Jamerson Love was arrested last week as part of a domestic violence dispute in Starkville, Miss.

Per the report, the Oktibbeha County Sheriff’s Office received a call just after 6 p.m. last Thursday evening from a female in distress. When authorities arrived on the scene, Love was seen standing outside Destini Jones’ vehicle. Jones was seated in the vehicle, and Love was seen with his head sticking through the window as he conversed with her.

Both parties were found to have marks from the alleged dispute, and both were arrested and charged with domestic violence-simple.

Love was a senior last fall and logged 34 tackles, 3 for loss in addition to 9 pass breakups in his final year on campus. He’s eligible for this month’s NFL Draft but is not projected to be selected.
