Brandon Bryant was a big part of the Mississippi State secondary the past three years, appearing in 37 games and recording 157 tackles and five interceptions.

However, he was absent from the team this spring, with new coach Joe Moorhead explaining that Bryant was dealing with academic issues off the field.

Now, it appears he’ll leave the school, as he tweeted on Sunday afternoon that he was beginning a new chapter in his career:

He thanked his teammates and the fans for the memories, but it appears he’ll move on to another school to play his senior season.

Where he ends up next remains to be seen, but if he gets his academics sorted out, he has a lot to offer a team’s defense.
