Staying home: Mississippi State lands commitment from 4-star 2019 DE
The Mississippi State Bulldogs and new coach Joe Moorhead have been hot on the recruiting trails this month, landing four commitments as of Thursday night.
On Thursday night, they added a fifth June commit to the mix, in the form of 4-star DE Nathan Pickering Jr.
As you can see in the tweet below, the Mississippi native announced he was staying home to play for the Bulldogs:

According to the 247Sports composite, Pickering is the No. 4 strong-side defensive end in the class of 2019 and the No. 2 overall recruit from the state of Mississippi.
The Bulldogs now have 14 players in their 2019 class, which currently ranks No. 6 in the SEC and No. 12 nationally, per 247Sports.
