Talented DB Jemaurian Jones backs off Mississippi State pledge

In an unexpected move, Mississippi State commit Jemaurian Jones de-committed from the Bulldogs via Twitter on Monday.

The upcoming senior out of Brookhaven is an in-state prospect who has no other Power 5 offers.
Jones is a three-star prospect, according to 247Sports, and his other four scholarship offers are currently from Arkansas State, Jackson State, Louisiana Tech and Louisiana-Lafayette.
The exact reasons for his de-commitment are unknown.
Following Jones’ decommitment, the Bulldogs have six commitments for the class of 2018.
