Count ’em up. That’s 3 blue-chip commitments for Mississippi State in the past 10 hours.

Prior to the Bulldogs landing commitments from 4-star WRs JJ Harrell and Braylon Burnside, MSU earned a pledge from 4-star CB PJ Woodland. The Hattiesburg native chose the Bulldogs over LSU, a final 2 he announced on Monday night.

Woodland plays both CB and WR for Oak Grove HS in Hattiesburg and stands at 6-foot, 165 pounds.

This represents Mississippi State’s 20th commitment of the class and, surprisingly, the Bulldogs’ first CB commit, assuming he stays on as a CB upon arrival in Starkville.

Woodland is considered to be the No. 405 prospect in the country, as well as the No. 34 ATH and No. 14 player from the state of Mississippi.
