Trifecta: Mississippi State makes it 3 'Summer Slam' cookout commitments
Mississippi State’s “Summer Slam” cookout is off to a hot start. Mike Leach’s program has already picked up 3 commitments on Friday night for the 2023 class.
Hattiesburg linebacker Tabias Hinton got the party started. Tupelo offensive tackle Zay Alexander quickly followed. Florence ATH Zakari Tillman completed the trifecta with pledge No. 3 of the night.

Tillman, listed at 6-2, 230 pounds, is listed under the multi-position ATH designation. He’s rated as the No. 87 linebacker (3-stars) on the 247Sports Composite. Tillman told Paul Jones of Gene’s Page that he is excited to play for MSU’s defensive coaches.
