WATCH: Former Mississippi State DL Chris Jones ejected for throwing punch
Chris Jones had a great start to his day, returning an interception for a touchdown in the Kansas City Chiefs’ game against the Jacksonville Jaguars.
However, things later got worse for the former Mississippi State defensive lineman.
Jones was later ejected for throwing a punch while on the ground during an extra point. Jones and a Jaguars lineman were both on the ground when Jones pounded the leg of the lineman.

Jones is listed at 6-foot-6, 311 pounds, so he likely has some strength and his punch probably did not feel good to his opponent.
Jones is in his third season in the NFL, all with the Chiefs.
Kansas City was well ahead at the time of Jones’ ejection. The Chiefs led the Jaguars, 30-7, with six minutes to go in the fourth quarter.
