Great news for every Mississippi State football fan, Nick Fitzgerald is back on the football field.

The Hail State quarterback continues to rehab his way back onto the field after dislocating his foot in last season’s Egg Bowl. He obviously missed MSU’s bowl game due to the injury but looks well on his way to returning to the field for the Sept. 1 season opener against Stephen F. Austin.

Wednesday afternoon, Fitzgerald posted a video of himself lightly running on the team’s practice field. While he’s obviously not back to full speed as of yet, he’ll have plenty of time to get there and it’s fantastic to see his rehab has not hit any snags at this point.
