Although the game is not until Oct. 16, Mississippi State quarterback Will Rogers is already looking ahead to facing Alabama in 2 weeks after the Bulldogs victory against Texas A&M, 26-22.

Rogers. who threw again for over 400 yards, had this to say about the Tide, via Bama Online.

“Probably historically the best team in the game,” Rogers said. “You know, so there’s that challenge to it. You know, but what a challenge. You know, we’re so blessed to be in that position to be able to play those guys at home in front of great fans. So you know I’m looking forward to a great bye week, still getting better. And you know, getting ready for Alabama.”

Last year, the Tide dominated State in Tuscaloosa, 41-0. In that game, Rogers only threw for 147 yards, he didn’t have a touchdown, and had 2 interceptions.

The Bulldogs have a bye week this week, while Alabama will head to College Station and face Texas A&M Saturday night on CBS.
