After leading a come-from-behind victory performance against the Auburn Tigers last Saturday, Mississippi State quarterback Will Rogers garnered the Manning Award national quarterback of the week.

Rogers, who threw for 415 yards and 6 touchdowns, brought his club back from a 28-3 deficit to score 40 straight points in their victory over the Tigers Saturday, 43-34.

This was Rogers’s 5th 400-yard game this season and he was also named SEC Offensive Player of the Week for his performance.

Rogers has thrown for 3,722, 29 touchdowns with only 8 interceptions this season. He also leads the nation in completion percentage at 76.8.

Rogers sits only behind Alabama’s Bryce Young in touchdowns thrown in the SEC and has won SEC Offensive Player of the Week 3 times this season.

Mississippi State faces Tennessee State Saturday.
