Will Rogers has snapped the Egg Bowl scoring drought.
The senior quarterback scored the first touchdown of the night and gave Mississippi State the lead over Ole Miss in the third quarter.
After starting its drive on the 29-yard line, Mississippi State marched 71 yards down the field through a slew of passes from Rogers and a few big runs from Jo’Quavious Marks. On a goal line stand, Rogers punched it up the middle and got into the endzone, giving the Bulldogs a 7-3 lead.

It’s been a snoozer of a game so far, but perhaps the first touchdown will bring some life to the game. Ole Miss is looking to match Mississippi State’s touchdown and take the lead. The Rebels are looking to avoid a huge upset, but they’ll need to get something going late.
Mississippi State is looking to pull of a huge upset, and the Bulldogs are on the right track.
