Barry Odom after 38-0 victory against Arkansas: 'We're playing as good of football as any team in the country'
Missouri blew out Arkansas, 38-0, in the regular-season finale to reach the eight-win plateau for the first time since 2014. The Tigers won eight games this season, which is the most during Barry Odom’s three season as head coach.
They will still play in a bowl game, but Missouri ends the regular season 8-4.

Odom on Mizzou’s bowl appeal: “Two of our losses were to teams ranked No. 1 and 2 at the time. The other two came on the final play of the game. … We’re playing as good of football as any team in the country.”

Odom points out Mizzou has a QB that makes it an attractive bowl choice and a defense coming off a shutout.

Odom declines to compare MU’s run game to the one he played with that included Ernest Blackwell, Brock Olivo, Devin West, etc. Said the offenses were different as well as the league and team.
