Brady Cook, Mizzou QB, speaks on disappointing start to the season
Brady Cook is not pressing the panic button.
No, it’s a long season, and despite Mizzou’s lopsided 40-12 loss to Kansas State, he’s looking towards the future instead of backwards to the past. Cook met with media Wednesday ahead of Mizzou’s game against Abilene Christian.
Cook said the team shouldn’t overreact to the loss and that a lot of other teams are going through what the Tigers are.
Cook: “We can’t overreact to this. There’s a lot of teams in college football going through this.”

He was humble in his struggles Saturday, too. Cook completed 15 of his 27 passes for 128 yards and 2 interceptions against the Wildcats.
Cook: “Defense has been awesome. They played a great game. We gave–I gave–Kansas State points.”

Cook on vertical shots: “We made them all fall camp. We made them all spring. It’s there. We just have to make it happen on Saturday.”
