Central Michigan announces future game against Missouri
Central Michigan plans to really test its football program in 2021.
While already having a game scheduled against LSU for Sept. 25, 2021, the Chippewas have announced plans to travel to Missouri on Sept. 4, 2021.
“We’ve never played Missouri,” CMU aD Michael Alford said in a prepared statement. “And we’ve never played LSU or Alabama. CMU alums are spread across the nation, and for many of them, this will be the first time they’ve been able to get to a CMU football game in a long time.”
“I said it last week, and I’ll say it again: We welcome the challenge to measure ourselves against the best,” CMU coach John Bonamego added. “I’ve seen firsthand the passion SEC fans have for football, and it should be a great trip for our players and fans.”
Central Michigan also plans to play at Alabama in 2023.
