Chris McClellan has announced that he will be joining Missouri as a transfer addition for 2024. The former Florida defensive lineman becomes the seventh transfer commitment for Eliah Drinkwitz and Co. in 2024.

The 6-foot-3, 320 pounder is a true interior lineman, primarily playing as a block-eater and mauler on the inside while appearing in 25 games. McClellan recorded 46 total tackles, 3.5 tackles for loss, 2 sacks and a fumble recovery over two seasons with the Gators. A former 4-star recruit, McClellan hails from Owasso, Ok and was offered by Mizzou when he came out of high school.

He joins an already heralded transfer portal class for the Tigers. Clemson defensive back Toriano Pride, Georgia State running back Marcus Carroll and Oklahoma offensive lineman Cayden Green all ranked amongst the best in the nation at their respective positions prior to committing to Mizzou. Miami linebacker Corey Flagg and Darris Smith are high-quality additions as well.
