Cody Schrader draws praise for incredible first-half performance vs. Tennessee

Cody Schrader transferred from Division II Truman State prior to last season (has the CBS broadcast mentioned that yet?), and this year, he’s become a star for the Missouri Tigers.

In the first half against Tennessee on Saturday, he’s made an impact as both a receiver and a running back. He’s put up 105 rushing yards and 93 receiving yards through 2 quarters, leading the game in both categories.

And he scored the Tigers’ only first-half touchdown, as you can see below. This run was his 11th of the season and it gave the Tigers a 13-7 lead:

Mizzou fans have come to love watching Schrader do his thing every Saturday. Tiger supporters and others tuning in to the national CBS broadcast were liking what they saw from Schrader.

Schrader’s efforts helped the Tigers take a 13-7 lead into halftime. The Tigers will need a few more big plays from the star running back to get this victory, though.
