Cody Schrader and Missouri finally have some points on the board in the Cotton Bowl!
Remarkably, the Tiger offense was shut out for the first 3 quarters of the game. Ohio State’s defense has been stout, but some questionable play calls and a lack of involvement for Luther Burden plagued the offense early on.
Fortunately, Mizzou was able to get things rolling late in the third quarter after being pinned on the 5-yard line. Brady Cook delivered a number of key moments on the drive, including a huge 50-yard pickup down the field to Marquis Johnson.
Ohio State just gave up its second 40+ yard play of the season.

The Tigers would eventually turn to Schrader deep in the red zone. He delivered from 7 yards out with his hard running getting through the contact of some Ohio State defenders for the Cotton Bowl’s first touchdown.

We’ll see if Missouri can find a way to add on with Ohio State’s offense challenged behind 3rd-string QB Lincoln Kienholz.
