Senior Bowl week is underway in Mobile, Ala., with the annual event set to be held on Saturday at Hancock Whitney Stadium as NFL scouts take a look at college football’s top seniors ahead of this spring’s NFL Draft.
Players will be angling to improve their stock and move up the draft board. One of those players is Tyler Badie, who was among the country’s top running backs in 2021. While he may not be the highest-drafted players in the field, he’ll certainly be getting plenty of attention from scouts during the week.
As it turns out, it’s been so far, so good for Badie during the lead up to the Senior Bowl. In fact, according to Football Outsiders’ Mike Tanier, he’s been one of the players that has stood out among everyone else in the field.
“He could be a guy that the could start rising up draft boards,” Tanier said.
SEC fans, and Mizzou fans, will be keeping a close eye on Badie on Saturday and hopefully in the NFL this fall.
After an eventful @seniorbowl Day 1, @MikeTanier believes Missouri RB Tyler Badie has separated himself from the rest.
