Colorado has apparently caught the fever for some SEC football.

Florida recently announced an agreement between its program and Colorado for a home-and-home series in 2028, 2029 and now CU has announced an additional home-and-home series against Missouri. The Mizzou series will begin on Sept. 20, 2025, in Boulder with the Buffalo making the return trip to Columbia on Sept. 7, 2030.

The two former Big 12 rivals have both moved on to new conferences in recent years but the added history between the two programs adds a level on intrigue to this newly announced non-conference showdown. The two football programs have not met on the field since 2010 and according to CU, Missouri holds the all-time edge in the series by a 41-31-3 margin.

Following news of this series, Missouri now has a full non-conference slate for the 2025 season as Colorado joins North Dakota, Miami of Ohio and UMass to the program’s future schedule.
