Connor Bazelak has been Mizzou’s starting quarterback for the past 2 seasons, earning SEC Co-Freshman of the Year honors in 2020.

After being replaced by Brady Cook for the Armed Forces Bowl last month, though, Bazelak decided to enter the NCAA transfer portal.

Now, the former Tiger is heading to the Big Ten. He revealed on Twitter on Thursday morning that he had committed to the Indiana Hoosiers:

The Hoosiers lost starting QB Michael Penix Jr. to the portal this offseason, with him ending up at Washington.

Bazelak played in 11 games for the Tigers in 2021, throwing for 2,540 yards, 16 touchdowns and 11 interceptions. He’ll be tasked with helping Indiana rebound after a dismal 2-10 record in 2021 that included an 0-9 mark in Big Ten play.
