Coming into this season, Kansas State transfer DaJuan Gordon was set to play a major part of this Missouri Tigers basketball team, but a suspension by the NCAA has held up Gordon’s start to the season.
Mizzou head coach Cuonzo Martin updated reporters on Gordon’s situation with the NCAA.

According to reports, Gordon was suspended by NCAA for playing in an uncertified pro-am summer game. He played in an NCAA-certified game then played in an NBA-certified game not knowing it was an NCAA violation. Another coach spotted him and alerted Mizzou.
Mizzou got word to Gordon immediately and he stopped playing in the tourney. Martin says there was no $ exchanged. "There was no mischief under the table." He was disappointed Gordon was punished

Martin and Mizzou heard about the incident, informed Gordon who immediately stop playing in the tournament. As Martin explains it, no money was exchanged, and “There was no mischief under the table.”
Apparently, the NCAA has cleared Gordon and he will play Monday against Kansas City.
