Dennis Gates, Mizzou add second familiar face via transfer from Cleveland State

Dennis Gates continues to overhaul the roster at Missouri, and he’s bringing a second player from Cleveland State with him to the Tigers.
Earlier in the week, Gates picked up a transfer from Tre Gomillion, a guard out of Cleveland State. Gomillion played 3 seasons for Gates with the Vikings before transferring to Mizzou.
Saturday evening, the Tigers picked up a second transfer commitment from Cleveland State. This time, it comes from D’Moi Hodge who shared the news via Twitter.

Listed at 6-foot-4, Hodge was Cleveland State’s leading scorer during the 2020-21 season at 15.4 points per game. He had 56 starts for the Vikings over the past two seasons.
Hodge has career averages of 13.2 points, 3.4 rebounds, 1.5 assists and 2 steals while shooting 45% from the field. Along with Hodge and Gomillion, Mizzou also holds transfer commitments from Noah Carter out of Northern Iowa and DeAndre Gholston out of Milwaukee.
