Drew Lock will miss the Seattle Seahawks’ Thursday night feud with the Chicago Bears after testing positive for Covid-19 Tuesday evening.

Thursday night’s game is set to air of ESPN at 8 p.m. and was to be Lock’s 1st start with the Seahawks. Before the news, broken by ESPN’s Adam Schefter, the Seahawks were 5.5 points favorites.

Lock had a strong start to his Seahawks career against the Steelers last week. The former Mizzou standout completed 11-of-15 passes for 102 yards and 2 touchdowns in the second half of Seattle’s 32-25 loss to Pittsburgh.

The Seahawks brought Lock in as a potential answer to Russell Wilson’s departure to the Broncos, Lock’s former squad. He threw for 4,740 yards, 25 touchdowns and 20 interceptions across his 3 years in Denver.
