Eli Drinkwitz did his College GameDay walk-and-talk ahead of Mizzou’s matchup against Boston College with a robotic dog.

Pat McAfee and the GameDay crew interviewed Drinkwitz about the state of Mizzou football and their matchup against Boston College Saturday morning. Eventually though, they had to ask about the robotic dog taking a stroll right next to him.

Here’s a look at the next perfectly normal circumstance college football has produced for us.

Mizzou is a big engineering school, so this appearance from the robotic dog checks out. Funnily enough, the robot was originally developed by Boston Dynamics from MIT. Not quite Boston College, but there may be a conflict of interest here for the dog regardless.

Missouri vs. Boston College may be one of the more underrated games of Week 3. Boston College, coached by Bill O’Brien, earned their No. 24 ranking based off a win over Florida State in Week 2 and have an exciting prospect under center in dual-threat Thomas Castellanos. He’ll give the Tigers defense plenty to deal with Saturday afternoon.

Mizzou, of course, has some firepower of their own on offense. Luther Burden and Theo Wease highlight one of the best receiving corps in the nation with veteran standout Brady Cook at quarterback. This offense will be among the toughest to slow down across all of college football this season.

Tigers vs. Eagles is slated to kick off at 12:45 ET on SEC Network.
