Eli Drinkwitz reveals interesting tactic being used to keep Mizzou focused ahead of FCS foe
Eli Drinkwitz and the Missouri Tigers are sitting at 1-1 after last weekend’s loss to Kentucky.
That record should improve to 2-1 this weekend, as the Tigers play host to an FCS foe, Southeast Missouri, on Saturday at Faurot Field.
However, on Tuesday, Drinkwitz said he isn’t letting his players overlook the Redhawks. He said every Mizzou player has a list of the 7 FCS teams that have beaten FBS teams already in 2021 in their lockers:
Drinkwitz: Hanging in every Mizzou player's locker this week is the list of the seven FCS teams that have upset FBS teams this year.

Drinkwitz is keeping his players focused so the Tigers don’t end up being FBS team No. 8 to go down to an FCS opponent this season.
The Tigers kick off Saturday’s game against SEMO at noon Eastern time. The game can be seen on ESPN+ and SEC Network+.
