Eli Drinkwitz and the Missouri Tigers haven’t had the season they thought they were going to have.
Heading out of the bye week, the Tigers are 3-4. The good news? They have a trip to Vanderbilt this weekend.
On Tuesday, Drinkwitz discussed the up-and-down play of QB Connor Bazelak. Drinkwitz acknowledged the need for Bazelak to improve, but added that he has a lot of faith in the quarterback:
Drinkwitz on his QB: "We've got all the faith in the world in Connor. But we also know we have to improve."

Bazelak has thrown for 1,912 yards, 12 touchdowns and 7 interceptions this season while completing 67% of his passes.
If he can show major improvement down the stretch, the Tigers could make a push for bowl eligibility. We’ll see how he fares in Nashville this weekend.
