The Missouri Tigers are preparing for their first season under new head coach Eliah Drinkwitz, who was hired from Appalachian State this offseason.

Now, it appears Drinkwitz has finalized his first Mizzou staff, naming all 10 assistants and finding roles for them.

As you can see below, Drinkwitz doesn’t have an official offensive coordinator, as he’ll call the plays. Here’s how the staff shakes out:

  • Bush Hamdan – Quarterbacks/Receivers
  • Curtis Luper – Running backs
  • Marcus Johnson – Offensive line
  • Casey Woods – Tight ends/Recruiting coordinator
  • Erik Link – Special teams coordinator
  • Ryan Walters – Defensive coordinator/Safeties
  • Brick Haley – Defensive line
  • D.J. Smith – Linebackers
  • Charlie Harbison – Defensive backs
  • David Gibbs – Secondary

Ryan Walters was drawing interest from other schools in recent weeks, but it appears he’ll stay on as the Tigers’ defensive coordinator in 2020.

How many wins can Drinkwitz and his staff get out of the Mizzou players this fall? We’ll find out in the coming months!
