Former Mizzou WR Jeremy Maclin announces retirement from the NFL after 8 seasons
Former Mizzou WR Jeremy Maclin was a dangerous receiver in the NFL for a number of years, but in the 10 years since he’s been drafted, he was only healthy for eight.
Now, he’s calling it quits on a strong NFL career, announcing his retirement via Twitter on Sunday evening.
As you can see below, Maclin said he’ll explain his decision later, but for now, his NFL career has officially come to an end:

Maclin was a star for the Tigers and then embarked on a long NFL career that included time with the Philadelphia Eagles (who drafted him in the first round of the 2009 NFL Draft), Kansas City Chiefs and Baltimore Ravens.
Maclin made the Pro Bowl in 2014 and finished his career with 514 catches for 6,835 yards and 49 touchdowns.
