THE GOOD

T3: Where Missouri would rank in the SEC for number of sacks if DEs Shane Ray (8.0) and Markus Golden (4.0) were the only two players on the team. Only Texas A&M (16.0) and Mississippi State (14.0) have more sacks as a team than the Tigers starting defensive ends.

1.1: Yards per punt return Missouri has allowed this season. In 29 punts, opponents have just 33 punt return yards. Christian Brinser and the punt coverage unit have done an outstanding job.

88: Percent, the Tigers’ fourth-down conversion rate. Missouri is 7 of 8 on fourth down this season.

56-24: The combined first-quarter score for Missouri in five games this season. The Tigers have outscored the opponent in the first quarter in all four wins.

THE BAD

5: Catches this year by receivers other than Bud Sasser, Darius White and Jimmie Hunt. The Big Three have been even more pervasive this year in terms of usage rate, and that’s not good considering White and Hunt both are dealing with injuries.

93: Receiving yards for Marcus Murphy. He has more punt return yards than he does receiving yards. As much time as Missouri spent in practice before the season working with Murphy as a receiver — and as strong as Murphy is in the open field — the Tigers would’ve liked this number to be higher at this point.
